The salary scale for this role is ¥13,792,669 - ¥16,953,524

Purpose

In this role, you will project manage the design, implementation and evaluation of world class EU co-funded, information and promotion campaigns in international markets, with a particular focus on the EU Beef and Lamb campaign in China, Japan and Singapore.

 

What you’ll do

  1. Project manage the development, design and execution of the EU Beef and Lamb co-funded campaign in international markets in association with the implementing body.

  2. Co-ordinate and manage the implementation of EU campaign work packages through the implementing body and relevant internal departments, which involves trade shows, technical seminars, and inward study visits.

  3. As part of the broader Marketing Team, in collaboration with the implementing body ensure all EU campaign messaging is aligned with EU Regulations and Ireland’s sustainable food brand.

  4. Cultivate strong and effective working relationships with the implementing body and evaluation agency through initiating good project management principles and practices.

  5. In conjunction with the Global Business Development team, actively engage and contribute to the buyer opportunity conversion process across the three target markets through monthly reporting and follow-up.

  6. Regularly review EU co-funded campaign efficacy, through critiquing outputs, outcomes and impacts and identify actions for continuous improvement.

  7. Develop and share key periodic communications to highlight and promote campaign activations and achievements of the EU co- funded campaign with key stakeholders.

  8. Adopt and implement robust corporate governance and budgetary procedures for the EU Beef and Lamb co-funded campaign, managing budget spend, forecasting and year end.

  9. Actively contribute to and lead on aspects of EU co-funding strategy execution and alignment with the One Bord Bia annual planning process.

About You

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities

 

Knowledge:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a marketing practitioner, with experience in Marketing Communication projects from planning through to execution and evaluation.

  • Project management with technical understanding of planning and implementing successful events across abroad range of international markets.

  • Best practice in creative content, innovative thinking which delivers meaningful client and customer engagement.

  • Delivering successful, metric driven B2B and B2Cpromotions.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and at least one relevant Asian language

  • Digital first mindset and comfortable with an agile culture focused on continuous improvement

  • Demonstrable ability to manage large budgets and projects against tight deadlines and reporting structures.

  • Strong track record in due diligence, corporate governance.

  • Demonstrate ability to establish and manage relationships across global partners, client companies and regulatory bodies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills with excellent ability to influence and negotiate.

  • Excellent organisational and time management ability.

  • Strong appreciation of software applications (Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft suite)

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities

 

Knowledge:

  • Food, drink and horticulture industry.

  • European policy, promotion and regulation.

  • Strong appreciation of Asian cultures and ways of doing business.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Third level educated in business development/marketing.

  • A self-starter with a strong growth mind-set for continuous learning and improvement.

  • A digital native with proven ability in SEO management, social media platforms.
