Marketing Executive - 19 month Specified Purpose Contract
Dublin
Reports To: Senior Manager - Marketing and Communications
Grade: 5
The salary scale for this role is € 53,036 to €72,765.
New Entrants to the Public Sector commence on the first point of the Scale.

The Purpose of Your Role
To project manage Bord Bia’s marketing campaigns so as to increase awareness, relevance and impact with our target audiences in line with Bord Bia’s business objectives and strategy
What you’ll do:
Provide input into the planning of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, which promote the reputation of the Irish food, drink and horticulture industry in the domestic and priority export markets.
Implement B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with key initiatives undertaken by the wider Marketing team.
Develop insight- led briefs for the media agency and work with them to devise a targeted media strategy, plans and media KPI targets, incorporating input from the independent media auditor.
Manage the adaption and development of new creative content for campaigns and as part of broader integrated marketing initiatives, in line with brand guidelines.
Review marketing campaigns in terms of effectiveness in meeting marketing objectives and value for money.
Provide project and budget updates as required.
Co-ordinate the collection and inputting of KPI results from team’s campaigns into the Marketing Evaluation Framework.
Maintain and manage the risk register for the Marketing Department.
Manage campaign and project budgets in line with One Bord Bia processes and guidelines.
Adhere to the One Bord Bia operating model.
Essential Knowledge / Skills / Capabilities
Knowledge:
Marketing – strong foundation in best practice marketing to deliver on business objectives and associated marketing KPIs.
Media landscape – good understanding of the role different media channels can play in moving target audiences through the marketing funnel.
Skills & Capabilities:
Three years+ experience in developing and implementing B2B and B2C marketing plans and campaigns in a company (‘client’) setting.
Experience of briefing and managing media buying and creative agencies to deliver media plans and creative content.
Experience in evaluating campaign performance.
Budget management.
Collaboration to ensure cross-organisational working and industry focused outputs.
