Bloom Brand & Events Manager- Marketing

12 Month Maternity Cover - Dublin

 

Reports To: Head of Bloom & Brand Partnerships 

Grade: 4 

  

The salary scale for this role is €82,824- €98,165;  

with Long Service increments of LSI1: €101, 329 & LSI2: €104,497.

In this role, you will deliver the annual Bloom project plan to budget and achieve visitor and exhibitor KPIs.  This role also serves to build the Global Hub as a brand home for Food Brand Ireland and Bord Bia, ensuring best in class in-house events. 

  

What you’ll do 

  1. Working closely with the Head of Bloom and Brand Partnerships in the execution of Bloom annual and multi-annual project management plans, through engaging, influencing and agreeing with cross functional and inter agency teams in the year long and multiannual cycle commitments for Bloom. 

  2. Manage the project management plan of scheduled work to include marketing campaigns, festival content, social media, digital channel execution and operations in partnership with external and internal teams.  

  3. Manage the delivery of the creative and media campaigns from brief through to execution and evaluation.  

  4. Manage the dashboard and reporting for continuous improvement of Bord Bia Bloom and to support the development of presentations for Senior Stakeholder communications. 


  5. Liaise with sector teams and contractors to ensure the smooth management of key stakeholder activations at Bloom. 


  6. Engage the International Graduate as part of the Talent Academy training programme in prioritisation, monitoring and owning the delivery of project outputs and personal development plan. 


  7. Managing and monitoring the Bloom budget, including tracking event income and expenditure. 


  8. Co-ordinate an annual plan for the activation of the Global Hub as a brand home for Food Brand Ireland and Bord Bia. To include leading on supporting, guiding and training staff to deliver best in class in-house events, underpinned by defined standard operating procedures. 


  9. Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.

About You 

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities 

 

Knowledge: 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a marketing practitioner, with experience managing Marketing Events projects from planning through to execution and evaluation. 

  • Brand management, marketing and events management 

  • Leading and delivering marketing campaigns and events 

  • Degree level qualification in marketing, or an associated discipline. 

Skills & Capabilities: 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change orientated business environment 

  • Marketing/brand/event/campaign management 

  • Project and Budget management 

  • Relationship building skills 

  • Communication (written/verbal/presenting) skills 

  • Digital first mindset with High Digital/Technical enabled skills 

  • Influencing skills 


Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities 

 

Knowledge: 

  • Advantage if you have sponsorship and/or event management experience 

  • Desirable if you have experience in leisure, festival or footfall driven companies/organisations.
