Industry Capability Manager

Reports To: Head of Industry Capability

Grade: 4

The salary scale for this role is €81,192 - €96,231; with Long Service increments of LSI1: €99,333 & LSI2: €102,438.

Purpose

In this role, you will enable the development of client capability in the areas of sales and marketing and at each stage of the client’s route to market journey, by sharing best-in class content, delivered through a mix of bespoke supports, group learning initiatives and always-on online materials.

What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver sales and marketing client capability content and support on a 1:1, group, and self-serve basis in accordance with client needs including but not limited to Commercial Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Category Management, and Customer Management.

  • Develop, evolve, and execute digital marketing capability programmes and identify growth opportunities on digital marketplaces.

  • Contribute to the evaluation of the effectiveness of client capability support and identify future development needs as part of Bord Bia annual planning process.

  • Develop and manage client capability content on My Bord Bia.

  • Assist with the ongoing design and delivery of Bord Bia’s Commercial Strategy supports for food and drink client companies, including evolving and using the latest insights and processes in a dynamic way to create content, deliver workshops (face to face and virtual), and facilitate 1:1 bespoke support.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and track, report and measure client capability projects via CRM and contribute to internal reporting and updates.

  • Collaborate with the CSE and GBD teams to identify client capability needs and target audiences through understanding and executing client, sector, and market plans.

  •  Support Bord Bia’s leadership position and expertise in commercial strategy and client capability through championing best practice in all client work.

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with other departments and develop opportunities to build and maintain strong external relationships with Bord Bia clients.

  •  Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.

About You

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an FMCG marketing or commercial role
