Grade: 4

 

The salary scale for this role is €75,187 – €89,113; with Long Service increments of LSI1:

€91,985 and LSI2: €94,861.

 

New Entrants to the Public Sector commence on the first point of the Scale

In this role, you will deliver brand creation, development, innovation, and activation services in pursuit of growth and value capture for Bord Bia client companies. Over time the goal of this agenda is deliver a culture of best practice in brand development for the Irish food, drink and horticulture industry.

 

What you’ll do 

  1. Provide bespoke brand development and innovation services to Bord Bia’s client companies, and internal departments as required, through the development of new brands, innovations or brand extensions. This involves the project management of a full-service brand development offering encompassing insight generation; proposition building; qualitative and quantitative research; and visual identity creation.

  2. Provide bespoke marketing support to client companies through expert guidance, strategic thinking and end-to-end project management on both short-term, performance marketing and longer-term, incremental brand equity building activities. This offering includes strategic planning and implementation of brand activity across digital marketing, PR and in-store activation.

  3. Support smaller client companies with the delivery of Bord Bia’s defined brand development and innovation services and supports, including but not limited to, SuperBrands, HiPO and Think Digital

  4. Support client companies on strategic planning activities, including but not limited to brand strategy, product innovations and marketing strategy.

  5. Maintain and manage relationships with a broad range of 3rd party agencies, service providers and organisations including brand strategy, design, research, marketing and digital agencies.

  6. Work with colleagues across the Strategic Insights team to leverage Bord Bia insight and foresight work, and knowledge and market intelligence resources in Client projects and strategic planning activities.

  7. Collaborate closely with Capability and Knowledge Management colleagues.

  8. Manage the performance of team members by determining and delegating priorities, through regular, formal PDP and PGP conversations and informal feedback and coaching.

  9. Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.

  10. Embed adherence to the One Bord Bia Operating Model.
